Code of Conduct

Amazon Web Services Community Day China is dedicated to providing an open, friendly, and inclusive platform for technology exchange. We expect all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers to abide by this code of conduct.

Our Pledge

We are committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, gender characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual orientation.

Expected Behavior

  • Use friendly and inclusive language
  • Respect differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accept constructive criticism
  • Focus on what is best for the overall community
  • Show empathy towards other community members

Unacceptable Behavior

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery, and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
  • Public or private harassment
  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or email address, without explicit permission
  • Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement & Reporting

If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please contact the event organizers immediately or email contact@awscommunity.cn.

All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly. All community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident. Event organizers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all conference venues, online communication channels, and social events related to the conference. All participants (including sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and attendees) are required to adhere to this code.
